The issue is less with my Tumblr blog, and perhaps more with my website.

Anyone doing an online search for my name will find my website, which has nudes on it. As much as I’d love to adopt a “fuck ‘em!” attitude to all and sundry who might turn their noses up at my photography, I have to deal with the reality of more and more people finding my site as they take one of classes (it’s natural to Google your professor). The more I teach, the more exposure I have to other people - people who could very well impact my long term future in the profession I have chosen.

Nude bodies make some people act like idiots. I am growing increasingly tired of dealing with the giggles, the questions, and the comments that invariably deal with a small percentage of all the images I shoot. Apparently, a nipple can negate a thousand portraits, landscapes, or street scenes.
